ASTM CE Helmet Test Results

Safety & Testing

When it comes to snow helmets and goggles, performance isn’t just about comfort or style—it’s about protection you can trust when things don’t go as planned.

We design every product with that in mind, then back it up with recognized safety standards, real-world testing, and continuous refinement.

Helmet Safety Standards:

All of our snow helmets are built to meet internationally recognized safety certifications:

ASTM F2040 (USA)

This standard evaluates how a helmet performs under impact, including:

  • Shock absorption during falls

  • Retention system strength (how well the helmet stays on)

  • Coverage in critical impact zones

In simple terms: it ensures your helmet can handle real crashes, not just ideal conditions.

CE EN1077 (Europe)

CE certification focuses on:

  • Impact protection at different speeds

  • Penetration resistance

  • Structural integrity across temperature ranges

This means your helmet is tested to perform in real mountain environments—from cold early mornings to slushy spring laps.

We don’t just meet these standards, we exceed them. Every helmet is engineered to perform consistently across the kinds of impacts riders actually experience.

ERT™ Head Impact Protection Technology:

Our helmets feature ERT (Energy Redirection Technology) a system designed to better manage impact forces during a crash.

How it works:

Instead of simply absorbing force in one direction, ERT helps:

  • Redirect rotational, linear, and angled impacts (most systems only protect rotational)

  • Reduce energy transfer to the head

  • Improve overall impact distribution

  • Lab proven 26% safer than most other leading impact systems

Why it matters

Most real-world falls don't happen just one direction. They involve rotation, edge catches, and awkward landings.

ERT is built with that reality in mind—helping manage the types of impacts riders actually experience on snow.

Real-World Testing Approach

Lab standards are the baseline, but they’re not the whole picture.

We also:

  • Test fit and retention across different head shapes

  • Evaluate performance in cold-weather conditions

  • Gather feedback from riders using the helmets in park, street, and all-mountain environments

This helps us refine details that don’t always show up in lab reports—like comfort, stability, and consistency over time.

Clear Edge™ Lens Technology

Visibility is just as critical as protection. Our Clear Edge Lens Technology is designed to give you a sharper, more reliable view of the mountain in changing conditions.

What it does

  • Enhances contrast to better define terrain features

  • Improves clarity in flat light and low visibility

  • Reduces visual distortion across the lens

Why it matters

On snow, small details matter:

  • Seeing the edge of a landing

  • Reading texture in flat light

  • Spotting ice vs soft snow

  •

Clear Edge is tuned to help your eyes pick up those differences faster and more naturally.

Built for the Way You Actually Ride

Certifications, materials, and technology all matter—but so does how a product performs day after day.

Our goal is simple:

  • Reliable protection

  • Clear, consistent vision

  • Gear that holds up through real riding

  •

No unnecessary complexity—just equipment designed to do its job when it counts.
